Airplanes Safe Heaven

 Planes are safer than cars, better fly than drive. In the image below, accidents from planes have been below 25 accidents a year; the last 8 years!

 

 

 

 

There was about 19 millions departures in 2020, planes flying! However, there was only 8 fatal crashes. Data supports the safety of planes. The next time you are in an airplane, just know you are mostly safe, safer than in your car.

 

 

 Car injuries of a single person will be shown below, for 2020 there were only 624 injuries. In this injuries there was only one person involved. However, 2 and more passengers incidents had more accidents. But for the sake of comparison, we can see even limiting the data for car accidents still shows planes to be safer than cars. Although car fatalities are decreasing because of better technology, safety equipment, and other features. Fatalities and accidents are still high as shown below.

The final graph contain the different weather and passengers numbers. Variables were used to control display and show incidents with precision. We can see single passengers tragedies to be high relatively speaking to planes.
